Every year, the old Joseph Horne department store turned one corner of the biulding into a Christmas tree. The department store is gone, but the new owners have kept up the Christmas-tree tradition.
HENRICUS ALBERTUS BOLI manages Father Pitt’s Internet presence for him, since Old Pa Pitt is a bit old-fashioned. You can find Dr. Boli at drboli.com.

Dear Sir,
Could I secure your permission to use your image of the old Horne’s tree in our email newsletter this December?
Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Father Pitt is happy to be of help. You have his permission to use this picture, and if there is anything else he can do for you, please do not hesitate to mention it.
You’re welcome to use it. It’s an old picture, and the original film is probably lost or (almost as bad) stored somewhere safe, but if you can make use of the picture as it is, Father Pitt is happy to let you have it.

I would like to secure permission to reprint your photo of the old Joseph Hornes Christmas Tree. It’s a great photo.
